Halloween @ ABC
On Friday, October 27th from 6:00pm – 8:00pm, TRUNK or TREAT is here! Decorating begins at 5pm; fun begins at 6pm! For more info, check out the Facebook event at https://www.facebook.com/events/855071019203449/.
On Saturday, October 28th, the Anchor Boat Club is hosting an Adult Halloween COSTUME Party starting at 6:00pm. If you can make it, please bring a dish to serve. If you have questions, contact Stacie or Kara.
Chicken Fry is almost here!
YES, that’s right…it’s almost here!
The annual Anchor Boat Club Chicken Fry will be held on Saturday, August 5th! You know it’s the BEST PARTY on the LAKE! We will be serving club-cooked chicken dinners from 4:00pm – 7:00pm (or until supplies last) for $12.00. Child plates available. Hamburgers, hot dogs, ribeyes, and livers & gizzards are also on the menu.
Drive-thru service not available but customers can do carry-out.
There will be plenty of ice cold drinks and JAMESON FREEWAY will be taking the Strutz Stage from 7:00pm to 11pm.

Coming August 12th! The Anchor Boat Club will be hosting a Cardboard Regatta at the club with loads of fun for all ages. Live music after the event!

Storm Damage
The Anchor Boat Club and most of Springfield was hit with a severe storm (in some parts, derecho or tornado) on Thursday, June 29th. While there was minimal damage to the building and a loss of power/water, there was significant damage to trees on the property.
A big thanks to the clean-up crew for getting things taken care after being given the “all-clear” by the city to come in and clean up the property.
